Heeley Institute

The church owns the Heeley Institute (the small building on the corner of Gleadless Road and Hartley Street). The Institute is currently leased to the Heeley Trust under a long lease, but this is coming to an end next week, when the building will return to the church's management. 

 

Thank you for your prayers as the task group has been meeting to help oversee the process of regaining ownership of the building. It is still a work in progress and we would appreciate your continued prayers for funding and all of the practical steps to help the building re-open. 

 

We will be hosting a "work party" on Thursday August 27th, 9.30am-12pm and 7-9pm to clean and do any odd jobs to get things ready for the church to be able to use the building. Refreshments will be provided.

Children’s Prayer Ministry on zoom 

Laura will be hosting a new monthly prayer Zoom meeting for the children's ministry at Heeley. It will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8.00pm for 40 minutes maximum and is for anyone to join. She will share updates on what has been happening with children’s work and anything coming up, talk about specific prayer points, then we can all prayer together.
