What's new?

We’re very excited to be welcoming a new curate to Heeley Parish Church!

Jess is going to be ordained at Sheffield Cathedral in July, and will be starting her curacy next Spring, following her maternity leave. Please pray for Jess as she completes her theological studies in Bristol, for the safe arrival of the new baby, and for the whole family as they prepare to move to Sheffield. 

"I'm really excited to be moving to Sheffield to begin curacy at Heeley Parish Church in Spring 2026. Originally from North Wales, I've lived in Yorkshire (mainly Leeds) for most of my adult life and am looking forward to being back up North again soon! I'm married to Alasdair (who will also be a curate at another church) and we have a wonderful four-year-old son named Ezra, and a baby girl on the way in April. Really looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all soon and in growing in faith and love of God together. Every blessing, Jess".
